GUWAHATI: A fire broke out in the early hours of November 2 in a shop located behind Santipur Pragjyotish College in Guwahati, quickly spreading to a nearby residence.

The fire reportedly ignited around 12 AM. Local residents attempted to douse the flames but were unsuccessful.
Fire tenders soon arrived at the scene and managed to bring the fire under control. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire and assessing the extent of the damage.
