Guwahati Fashion Designer Found Dead at Apartment

GUWAHATI : Guwahati-based fashion designer Mauchumi Saikia Saharia was found dead in her apartment in Jalukbari area of the city.

The police have registered a case at the Jalukbari police station in connection with the incident. Reportedly, the police have also detained Deepankar Das in the case.

As per reports, the designer’s body was sent for post-mortem at the Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).
