GUWAHATI: The Noonmati police arrested one auto rickshaw driver for allegedly assaulting a 16 year old minor girl at Haripur in Noonmati area on Thursday, 6th September, 2018.
The 53-year-old accused has been identified as one Keshab Das.
The officer-in-charge of Noonmati police station Chidananda Bora said that the victim alleged that she was inappropriately touched by the auto rickshaw driver while she got into the vehicle.

The family of the victim and the driver are apparently neighbours.
The accused has been sent to judicial custody after being produced in the court on 7th September 2018.
