GUWAHATI: The Guwahati Jal Board in a public announcement, informed its consumers that the disruption in water supply has been extended to November 3 in the Chandmari area of Guwahati.
This interruption is a result of necessary repair works undertaken the previous night in the Chandmari area, as previously notified. Despite the efforts to expedite the repair process and restore the water supply as quickly as possible, the repair work could not be completed within the expected timeframe, necessitating the temporary interruption as notified by Guwahati Jal Board.
The Guwahati Jal Board took to X to put out, "We would like to inform our esteemed consumers that water supply will be interrupted on 3.11.23 due to repairing works taken up yesternight at Chandmari as notified earlier inspite of our endeavour to complete the same yesterday itself. Inconvenience is regretted. Regards GMDW&SB.”
