GUWAHATI: Bangladesh Assistant High Commissioner to India, Shah Mohammad Tanvir Monsur announced that the centre has proposed to launch a direct flight between Guwahati and Dhaka from March.
Speaking at an event, Monsur said that the Civil Aviation Ministry of India is going to launch a direct flight from Guwahati to Dhaka to enhance people to people connectivity and boost tourism.
Further, he said, Bangladesh government is also working on river connectivity and dredging activity is going on in full swing.
