GUWAHATI: A Sub-Inspector of the Jalukbari Police Station was detained for allegedly sexually molesting a girl in Guwahati on 22 December.
The Sub-Inspector has been identified as Krishna Saikia.
Based on a complaint filed by the victim, Panbazar Police has registered a case against the police officer.

A trusted source at the Jalukbari Police Station informed G Plus that the Sub-Inspector got into an argument with a few boys outside a nearby Pan Shop wherein the girl was also present, which led to a verbal exchange of dialogue and ended with the girl pressing charges.
