GUWAHATI: A body was found in the drain of an apartment in the Rukminigaon area of Guwahati on October 17 at around 10:45 PM.
The body has been identified to be of Jyotish Talukdar who was a caretaker for the same building for more than 15 years.
The cause of his death is yet to be established.
Dispur police reached the scene upon receiving information and initiated an investigation into the death.
While speaking to GPlus, a Dispur Police Official said, "The person was around 40-42 years old. We've sent the body to post-mortem only then we will receive more details about his death."
