GUWAHATI: According to media reports, one of the passengers on a Delhi-Guwahati Air India Express flight unlocked an emergency exit door, resulting in a chaotic scene inside the aircraft and delay of the flight.
The incident took place in New Delhi and the passenger has been reportedly identified as Jayanta Kumar Das, the vice-president of Assam BJP.
While speaking to GPlus, a source from Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport (LGBIA) said, "We came to know about the incident which took place in Delhi yesterday. We are yet to receive an official statement. As of now we have not received any clarification from Das regarding what led him to take such actions."
