GUWAHATI: The Golaghat Police on Friday (May 17) has detained a former ULFA in connection with the Guwahati blast that took place in Zoo Road area on May 15.
The detained person has been identified as Amit Ballav Goswami alias Bijoy Asom and is a resident of Lakhibari, Golaghat. He was detained from his hometown Golaghat.

On May 16, Assam Police arrested Jahnabi Saikia and pro-talk ULFA member Pranamoy Rajguru in connection with the blast. Both Jahnabi and Pranamoy will be presented before the judicial magistrate on May 17.
