GUWAHATI: In a recent development, Advocate Md Safiur Rahman, a 45-year-old resident of Bhetapara has been apprehended by the Crime Branch Police on December 13 in connection with Case Number 09/23 under sections 120/419/420/468/471/409 of the Indian Penal Code.
The arrest follows Rahman's alleged involvement in a scam related to the fabrication of counterfeit land documents. The Crime Branch Police initiated the investigation, uncovering Rahman's role in the fraudulent preparation of these documents.
