GUWAHATI: Assam Swimming Association is organising the 30th State Aquatic Championship 2023 on July 7, 8, and 9, 2023 at Dr Zakir Hussain Aquatic Complex, Sarusajai, Guwahati.
Bhaskar Ranjan Das, Vice President of the Swimming Federation of India and General Secretary of Assam Swimming Association, announced the event, which will witness participation from more than 500 talented athletes representing all districts of Assam.
Competitors from various age categories such as sub-junior, junior and senior will participate and showcase their talents
In addition to swimming, the championship will feature diving and water polo events, making it a comprehensive display of aquatic skills.
Adhering strictly to the rules and regulations set by the Federation Internationale de Natation (FINA), the entire championship will be conducted in accordance with their standards. Each participant will be eligible to compete in a maximum of five events, ensuring a fair and competitive atmosphere throughout the tournament.
All participants have been asked to possess a valid Unique Identification (UID) number issued by the Swimming Federation of India.
The winners of this tournament will get a chance to compete in the national tournament which is scheduled for August.
