GUWAHATI: The Excise Intelligence Bureau of Assam has seized twenty-one cases of Indian-made foreign liquor (IMFL) from the Lokhra area in Guwahati on 6th October.
The liquor was made in Arunachal Pradesh.
Excise Minister Parimal Suklabaidya and the excise commissioner have call for a detailed enquiry and have formed a high-level enquiry committee in this regard.
Currently, the case is under investigation.
On 5th October, the Guwahati Railway police had also seized gold worth Rs. 1.15 crore from the Avadh Assam Express.
