Parimal Suklabaidya Files His Nomination From BJP For The LS Elections 2024 From Silchar Constituency


GUWAHATI: Parimal Suklabaidya, the Minister of Transport, Excise & Fisheries, Assam has officially filed his nomination for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections from the Silchar constituency on April 3.

Suklabaidya took to X to put out, “Accompanied by Hon'ble Chief Minister Dr.@himantabiswa, respected @BJP4Assam President Shri @Bhabesh_KalitaR, Hon'ble Silchar MP @drrajdeeproy & BJP Assam Pradesh Sah Prabhari Shri Pawan Sarma ji, I submitted my nomination papers as the BJP candidate for Silchar Lok Sabha constituency.”

Assam Cm Himanta Biswa Sarma also took to X to put out, “Joined my esteemed colleague and@BJP4Assamnominee for Silchar LS, Shri@ParimalSuklaba1as he filed his nomination for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.We are committed to deliver #ModiKiGuarantee to the people of Silchar and make it one of Assam's best cities.”

Parimal Suklabaidya is a member of the Assam Legislative Assembly from the Bharatiya Janata Party. He became a minister in the Sarbananda Sonowal-led government in 2016. He has held the Department of Fisheries, and Excise since 2016, Public Works Department from 2016 to 2018, Environment and Forests from 2018 to 2022), and Transport since 2022 in Assam.
