GUWAHATI: The Crime Branch of Guwahati Police arrested two persons after seizing fake gold bars from the latter in Sijubari area of Hatigaon.
The accused have been identified as Saidul Islam and Gaji Rahman.
Based on reports, there has been an increase in the circulation of fake gold bars and many of these bars are reportedly copied from reputed domestic and international bullion manufacturers.
Meanwhile, the two accused are being interrogated by officials of Hatigaon Police station.
