GUWAHATI: The Chinese Shaolin Kung-Fu (CSK) Federation will organise the 1st CSK National All Martial Arts Championship at the Cotton University Indoor Stadium, Guwahati, on October 28 and 29.
The event has been supported by the World Amateur Sports Council, the South Asian Federation of All Sports and the International Chinese Shaolin Kung-fu Council.
Speaking to G Plus, the National President of the Chinese Shaolin Kung-fu Federation Grandmaster Gome Thapa said, "This is a two-day special martial arts championship. The idea behind organising the event is to promote martial arts both at the state and national level."
"Altogether, 200 candidates have confirmed their participation in the event. We shall also have participants from Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, West Bengal, Delhi, etc," Thapa further added.
