GUWAHATI: During an eviction drive conducted at Garchuk, 1000 bottles of Wiscof syrup were recovered today by the Garchuk Police.
The Garchuk police arrested two people in this connection.
The arrested persons are identified as Sadek Ali, who is a resident of Goroimari, Assam and Ranjit Biswas, a resident of Guwahati.

The seized cough syrup was recovered from a ‘Tata magic’ vehicle bearing the registration number “AS01HC4887”.
The estimated price of the seized wiscof syrup is said to be of Rs.108000.
