GUWAHATI: In a joint operation carried by the Assam Police and Border Security Force (BSF) recovered grenades and explosives from a passenger in Bokakhat.
Acting on a tip-off, both the teams carried a search operation in a Guwahati bound bus to recover the objectionable materials from a passenger in Guwahati-bound bus. The man has been identified as Nirmal Tirki.
Assam police informed that they have recovered two grenades and a revolver from the apprehended and was travelling from Dimapur to Guwahati.
Meanwhile, Nirmal Tirki has been taken to the Bagori Police Station for further interrogation.
