GUWAHATI: GPlus Athletic staged a thrilling comeback to draw 2-2 against Gauhati Town Club (GTC) in the 2nd Guwahati Premier Football League (GPFL) match held at Judges’ Field on Saturday, December 7.

GTC dominated the first half, with Henery Singh scoring in the 3rd minute and Kishan Singh doubling the lead in the 37th minute. However, GPlus Athletic’s Pynhunlang Nongshli turned the game around in the second half, netting goals in the 55th and 85th minutes to equalise.
Nongshli’s outstanding performance earned him the Player of the Match award.
GPlus Athletic will face Deka Brick Industry next on December 10, at Judges’ Field at 1:30 PM.
