GUWAHATI: Prime Minister Modi appealed to the people of the country not to ostracize against those who are involved in working to contain the spread of coronavirus.
While holding a discussion with the people of Varanasi on March 25, PM Modi said that there have been reports of people shunning and discriminating against doctors, nurses, airline workers and others who are working to contain the spread of the virus in the country.
“I have instructed all state DGPs, home ministry, and government will take strict action against such people who are shunning people who are providing the highest service at a time of crisis,” said the PM.
