According to reports, the price of gold saw a significant increase of ₹750, bringing it to ₹ 79823 per 10 grams in the national capital on Tuesday. Silver, too, experienced a dramatic rise, jumping by ₹5,000 per 10 grams to reach ₹99,500 per 10 grams, continuing a four-day upward trend.

The demand for gold increases during this period, and market experts believe that this year’s record prices are being driven by heightened industrial demand for silver along with gold's rally in global markets.

The Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) reflected this trend, with gold futures for December delivery rising by ₹493, or 0.63%, to ₹78,242 per 10 grams. Meanwhile, silver futures for December delivery jumped by ₹2,822, a 2.96% increase, to ₹98,224 per kg.
