GMC Seals Two Eateries In Guwahati For Trade License & Garbage Disposal Violations

GUWAHATI: The Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC) sealed two eatery establishments for non-compliance with municipal regulations on Wednesday, October 23.

Madras Cafe was shut down for violating trade licence rules, while Dilkhush Punjabi Dhaba faced closure due to improper garbage disposal practices.

The GMC has reiterated its call for all commercial establishments to ensure that their trade licences are up-to-date and that garbage is disposed of according to regulations.

The corporation also warned that failure to comply with these rules will result in legal actions, including the sealing of establishments.

The action is part of an ongoing effort by the GMC to maintain public health standards and ensure that businesses continue to operate in line with city regulations.
