A student of KC Das Commerce College was found dead today under mysterious circumstances at House No. 119 on JP Agarwal Road, Santipur.
The victim’s body has been burnt and her body was recovered from the house in Santipur.
Police, CID and the forensic team is currently investigating the death of the girl which is a suspected rape and murder. However, no official confirmation has been made.
The victim was a student of B.Com (3rd year) at K.C. Das Commerce College and is the daughter of Om Prakash Agarwal.
Update: Forensic department has reached the spot and identified the victim as Shweta Agarwal (20 y/o). Shweta was also the HS Commerce Topper in 2015 from KC Das Commerce College. The victim had her accountancy exam today (Monday)
