GUWAHATI: A massive python was discovered on the premises of the Musa Lodge, situated on the outskirts of Manas National Park, Assam on November 28.
According to video reports in the media, the colossal snake, initially sighted by the lodge staff, prompted an effort involving forest officials and local nature enthusiasts to safely recover the reptile.
Upon receiving the report, forest officials reportedly responded to the scene, joined by community members passionate about preserving local wildlife. Working together, they extricated the large python from the lodge premises.
Subsequently, the rescued python was released into the jungles of the Bahbari Range within the Manas National Park, as per reports.
