GUWAHATI: The Gauhati University on Thursday, August 18, suspended Dhruwajyoti Choudhury, Controller of Examinations, Gauhati University due to anomalies and delay in the announcement of this year's Undergraduate Examinations results.
In an order issued by the Registrar and Disciplinary Authority, it has stated that, "Dr. Dhruwajyoti Choudhury, Controller of Examinations, Gauhati University is placed under suspension with immediate effect until further order because of anomaly and delay in declaration of results of the Undergraduate Examinations of Gauhati University in the year 2022."
Debahari Talukdar, Deputy Controller of Examinations, Gauhati University, has now been assigned with the additional responsibility of the Controller of Examinations in addition to his normal duties until a further order is released.
“Dr. Debahari Talukdar is requested to take over the Examinations, G.U. charge from Dr. Dhruwajyoti Choudhury, Controller of and submit a joining report to the undersigned with a copy to the Treasurer, G.U.,” stated the order.
