Guwahati Kabristan Committee has decided to close gate number 4 of Aathgaon Kabristan which opens near Fatasil.
According to All Guwahati Kabristan Committee Secretary, I. Rahman, since many days illegal factories and godowns have occupied some portion of the Kabristan land. He said drivers and workers of these illegal establishments drink alcohol and other intoxicants inside the Kabristan premises.
The newly formed registered committee has decided to stop all anti social activities happening there and have also informed the police. The gate number 4 was closed today and the local residents of the area has also supported the committee decision.
