GUWAHATI: Assam police seized a huge amount of Ganja from North Guwahati on February 12.
According to reports, ganja weighting 606 kg has been seized from an oil tanker which was been carried from Manipur to Bihar via Meghalaya.
Police said that along with the seized ganja which is worth Rs. 1 Crore, the driver and handyman has also been apprehended.
It is to be mentioned that the seizure comes just ahead of Maha Shivratri which is will be celebrated all over the country on 21 February, 2020.
Currently interrogation is underway.
