Ganja smuggler apprehended by BSF

Troops of Guwahati Frontier of Border Security Force apprehended one ganja smuggler on Wednesday from the International Boundary under Cooch Behar district of West Bengal.   Apprehended  ganja smuggler has been identified as Saiful Mia, (26 yrs), S/o Azamuddin Mia, R/O VPO – Golnahati, PS- Sitalkuchi, Dist- Coochbehar (WB) was apprehended along with ganja by the troops of BOP Mirapara. Apprehended ganja smuggler was handed over to local police and seized items handed over to Narcotic Department  for legal action.   BSF troops of Guwahati frontier also seized 158 cattle heads having approximate value of Rs 10,05,080 and miscellaneous items worth Rs. 4,550 on intervening night of 4th and 5th Jan.   Stay updated on the go with GPlus News.
