GUWAHATI: The Fatasil Ambari Police as part of the West Guwahati Police Department (WGPD), carried out an operation against a burglary case on Friday night.
Four individuals, identified as Md Babidul Mia, Md Arju Ali, Md Anuwar Ali, and Md Failjul Haq, all hailing from Dhirenpara, were apprehended in connection with the crime.
The incident in question took place on July 10, 2023, in Ankur Path, Barsapara when a daring burglary occurred at the residence of a complainant, leaving behind a trail of stolen gold jewellery. The matter was immediately reported to the authorities, setting off an intensive investigation led by the WGPD.
The WGPD team from Fatasil Ambari was able to make a significant breakthrough in the case.
Following intensive interrogation sessions, the four suspects, allegedly involved in the burglary, were taken into custody.
The arrests yielded further crucial information, leading the investigative team to the recovery of the stolen gold jewellery. Further details await.
