GUWAHATI: Four Gecko Lizards were being smuggled aboard the Tejas Express which was seized by the Government Railway Police (GRP), at the Guwahati Railway Station on January 9.
The GRP intercepted the reptiles being smuggled from Agartala to Siliguri aboard the Tejas Express.

Talking to GPlus, SRP Assam, Debashish Bora said, “We seized the reptiles aboard the Tejas Express and we also held two people in connection to the smuggling. Further investigations are being undertaken as we have apprehended the individuals.”
Additionally, in the same train, 53 kg of Ganja has also been seized by the GRP today. Four people have been apprehended in connection to the cannabis. Further details await.
