GUWAHATI: Dr. Gyan Chandra Jain, a renowned surgeon breathed his last on 5th January morning in Guwahati.
Dr. Jain was a retired Professeor of Surgery from Gauhati Medical College who was very popular among his students and has served relentlessly to the medical fraternity for more than 55 yrs.
In a noble gesture, Dr. Jain also donated his eyes through Shankerdev Netralaya for the needy.
