GUWAHATI: A retired land-registrar of Dibrugarh identified as Pranab Kumar Bora has been apprehended by a team of Dibrugarh police in Guwahati on June 28.
Bora has been arrested in connection with a land document forgery case.
It is to be mentioned that earlier five others were arrested, which included prominent tea planter of Dibrugarh, Mrigen Jalan among others.

The other arrestees are Swagata Kundu, Nem Chand Kejriwal, Anil Kejriwal and Sharda Devi Kejriwal.
The accused were arrested following a complaint regarding the sale of a plot of land in the town after submitting a fake No Objection Certificate (NOC).
