GUWAHATI: Assam politician and former Member Of Parliament (MP) from Kaliabor Constituency Bhadreshwar Tanti breathed his last on December 4.
Assam Chief Minister’s Office took to X to put out, “Hon'ble Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma has expressed deep shock at the news of the passing away of Bhadreshwar Tanti Dangoria, former MP from Kaliabor Lok Sabha constituency. The Hon'ble Chief Minister prayed for the eternal peace of his departed soul, recalling the contribution of veteran politician Tanti Dangoria to politics as well as social life. He also conveyed his deepest condolences to his bereaved families.”

Bhadreswar Tanti was elected to the Members of Parliament the lower house of the Indian state from Kaliabor Lok Sabha constituency in Assam in 1984. He was a member of the Asom Gana Parishad. Later he joined Bharat Vikas Morcha.
