Five New Infrastructural Projects To Come Up In Guwahati

GUWAHATI: Eight ongoing projects have been designated as iconic projects for their potential transformational impact on Assam, among which five are in Guwahati.

These projects, currently in progress throughout the state have been identified for their contributions to the overall development and progress of the region. 

The upcoming projects are:

-Redevelopment of Gauhati Medical College And Hospital 
-Construction of the longest elevated corridor from Dighalipukhuri to Noonmati
- Redevelopment of Nehru Stadium into an International Football Stadium
-Natural History Museum and Animal Rescue Centre
-Establishing the Kanaklata University 
-Redevelopment and modernisation of Assam State Zoo 
-1000 kilometer of roads to be developed within the state  
-Construction of a driveway near Deepor Beel

While specific details about the identified Iconic Projects are yet to be released, officials have indicated that they span a range of sectors, including transportation, urban development, and public utilities.
