GUWAHATI: Unidentified miscreants looted Rs. 5 lakh from a car parked near Christian Basti on Tuesday. As per reports, the owner of the black-colored Scorpio had kept the cash in the vehicle.
The miscreants broke the window glass of the car and looted the amount. The owner of the vehicle Mohidul Islam was not present in the car at the time of the incident.
Islam who is involved with a stone quarry business had withdrawn the money from an ICICI bank and kept it in the car.

Dispur police reached the spot and investigation is underway.
