GUWAHATI: A fire broke out in a mini truck carrying an overloaded consignment of dry jute that came into contact with a live electric wire in Sithila village of Kokrajhar on Monday, April 7.

The vehicle was moving through the area when the top of the jute load brushed against the wire, resulting in a fire that quickly engulfed the truck.
Both the driver and the handyman managed to escape the fire without injuries.
Talking to GPlus, an official from Fakiragram Police Station confirmed the incident, stating, “The fire broke out after a mini truck overloaded with dry jute came into contact with a live electric wire in Sithila village. No casualties have been reported.”
