WATCH | 10-Foot-Long King Cobra Rescued From House In Assam's Cachar 

 

GUWAHATI: A 10-foot-long king cobra was rescued from a house in Hawaithang, Cachar, around 1 PM on Monday, April 7.

The Barak Valley Wildlife Division received an emergency call and immediately dispatched a rescue team comprising Trikal Chakraborty, Sabir Ahmed Laskar, and Manash Jyoti Pegu to the location. 

“We reached the spot without delay and began by setting up a safety perimeter to keep the crowd at a safe distance. The snake was then carefully rescued following standard procedure,” said Trikal Chakraborty. 

The operation was completed without any injuries. The cobra was later released safely into its natural habitat.
