GUWAHATI: A massive fire broke out in the Paltan Bazar area of Guwahati in the morning hours of November 16, 2020.
The incident took place near the Meghdoot Cinema Hall. The fire damaged properties worth approximately Rs 5000. However, the amount of the property involved has been calculated at around Rs 4 crores.
The fire was brought under control by three fire tenders that arrived within minutes of the fire breaking out.
While the cause of the fire is unknown, sources in the fire and emergency services department informed G Plus that it occurred on the terrace floor of G+3 rcc building and was doused by spraying water.
