GUWAHATI: Based on the final report on the death of Cafe Coffee Day founder, V.G. Siddhartha, police officials have confirmed that it was a case of suicide.
According to a report by The Hindu, Police Commissioner P.S. Harsha has stated that the investigation will now look into the reasons for suicide of the coffee mogul.
A four-member team of experts who performed the autopsy found that the CCD founder died of asphyxia after drowning. The experts submitted a preliminary and final report to the police stating the same.
It should be noted that Siddhartha was found dead on July 31 when his body was found floating near Netravathi river.
