GUWAHATI: A violent altercation in Chakrapani, Boko, resulted in the death of Jajanta Rabha on Tuesday, December 17. The victim succumbed to severe injuries after being assaulted with a sharp object by his sister-in-law, Padumi Rabha,. The incident is allegedly to have stemmed from a family dispute.

Speaking to Gplus, an official from Boko police station confirmed the incident, saying, “A man was killed in a family dispute in Chakrapani last night. He was assaulted by Padumi Rabha, brother’s wife. Further investigation is going on.”
Padumi Rabha was detained by Boko Police in connection with the incident.
