GUWAHATI: A Third Semester Engineering student of Girijananda Chowdhury Institute of Management and Technology (GIMT), allegedly committed suicide on 18 November.
The deceased has been identified as Bhargab Bhattacharyya and hailed from Naharjan, Bokakhat.

Bhargab was staying as a paying guest at Bharalipara, Azara.
Police, however, had not found any suicide note. The body has been sent to Guwahati Medical College Hospital (GMCH) for post-mortem examination.
