GUWAHATI: The Special Operations Group (SOG) of Central Guwahati Police District (CGPD), in coordination with a team from Pragjyotishpur Police Station, busted a drug hideout in Chopaidang on Wednesday, September 25.

The operation has led to the arrest of one individual, Gautam Baro.
During the raid, the team managed to recover 151 grams of suspected heroin packed in three plastic soap boxes and 16 vials.
Additional items have also been seized, including a sealed bag of empty vials, 42 empty plastic vials, 14 tobacco containers, two mobile phones, and a gambling set.
Legal action has been initiated against the accused following the bust.
