Dist Admin Permits Drug Distributors in Arihant Apartment to Operate from June 9

GUWAHATI: The Deputy Commissioner of Kamrup Metro has permitted MB Marketing Agency and 17 other drug distributors located within the containment zone of Arihant Apartment to deal with the distribution of emergency life saving medicines to hospitals and nursing homes between 10 AM and 1 PM with effect from June 9 subject to fulfilling the following conditions:

1. Limited staff must enter into the premises of distribution houses,
2. No vehicle must enter within the containment zone,
3. No person must enter inside the premises of Arihant Apartment,
4. All must maintain COVID-19 protocols.

Arihant Apartment had earlier been demarcated as a Containment Zone by district authorities on June 6.
