GUWAHATI: A young girl was given a moped by Dibrugarh Police after her story of selling vegetables to support her family went viral.
The young girl named Janmoni was handed the TVS moped at her residence by DSP (HQ), Dibrugarh Police, Pallavi Mazumbar.
Several regional media houses had reported her story; she sold vegetables on a cycle during lockdown, after which Dibrugarh police decided to give her the bike to help her.

The resident of Dibrugarh’s Saphakati, Ghogora Gaon of Bogibeel area and had been selling vegetables at Jamira area.
Further, the principal of DHSK college, Sashi Kanta Saikia expressed his willingness to finance her higher studies.
