Dhritiraj Bastav Kalita of Darrang Secures 1st Position in HSLC Exam

GUWAHATI: Dhritiraj Bastav Kalita, a student of Padum Pukhuri High School, has topped the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examination, 2020 conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA).

Dhritiraj secured the top position scoring 595 marks out of total 600.

Taking to the Twitter, Assam Education Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote, "Heartiest congratulations to Dhritiraj Bastav Kalita as he tops HSLC 2020 examinations by scoring 595 out of 600 marks. Keep it up. You have a long way to go. Keep shining."

Meanwhile, Iyamin Ali from Dhakua High Madrassa of Barpeta secured the first position in the Assam High Madrassa (AHM) examination.

The pass percentage of High Madrassa is 63.67%.
