Dhemaji, Dima Hasao, Sivasagar Top the Assam HSLC 2022 Exam Results

 

GUWAHATI: The district of Dhemaji in Assam recorded the highest pass percentage among all the 33 districts in the High School Leaving Certificate Examination, 2022.

The HSLC/AHM results were declared on Tuesday, June 7 by the Board of Secondary Education, Assam. The pass percentage in Dhemaji is 85.46 percent closely followed by Dima Hasao (81.31%) and Sivasagar (81.17%).

Of the total 13452 students that appeared for HSLC examination from Dhemaji District, 2713 students got first division, 5674 students got second division and 3109 students got third division. From Dhemaji, 11,496 passed the HSLC examination and 1956 students failed to pass this year. 

From the hill district of Dima Hasao, 779 students got first division and 2528 students managed to pass the HSLC examination of the 3109 that appeared. 
In Sivasagar, 2630 got first division, and 7073 students managed to pass the Assam HSLC examination 2022 of the total 8701 students that appeared.

From Lakhimpur District, a total of 15,942 students appeared in the Assam HSLC Examination, 2022 of which 12,055 passed. The overall pass percentage of Lakhimpur is 75.62 percent. In Lakhimpur, 3262 students got first division, 5464 second division and 3329 students managed to get third division in the HSLC examination 2022.
