GUWAHATI: Deba Kumar Mishra has been transferred from his role as District Commissioner of Sonitpur to serve as District Commissioner of Kamrup.

Mishra will also take up the role of CEO of Guwahati Biotech Park and Assam Biotechnology Council from J. Keerthi, who has been transferred to the post of Commissioner of Panchayat & Rural Development, Assam, and the MD of Swachh Bharat Mission (Gramin).
The transfer of 19 District Commissioners was announced by the Assam Chief Minister's Office today at the new Secretariat in Dibrugarh.
