GUWAHATI: The deadline for submitting online applications for the 4669 Additional (Contractual) Teacher positions under the Special Recruitment Drive in Assam has been extended. Originally set to close on December 8, 2024, the new deadline is now December 12, 2024, at midnight.

The advertisement for the Special Recruitment Drive was initially issued on December 2, 2024. These posts are for various Government/Provincialised Secondary Schools across Assam.
Assam Education Minister Ranoj Pegu announced the extension via the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), saying, "The deadline for submitting online applications for 4669 Regular Graduate Teacher posts has been extended to 12th December 2024, midnight. Apply through the official website: https://madhyamik.assam.gov.in. @CMOfficeAssam”
