GUWAHATI: A security review meeting of all ranges and CRPF Battalions at its Group Centre, CRPF Guwahati was conducted by CRPF, North East Sector on 27th June, Wednesday.
Prakash D, IGP, North East Sector, laid emphasis on the preparedness of CRPF, camp security and coordination with sister security agencies to tackle any law and order situation that may arise in the wake of the scheduled publication of the final NRC draft on June 30.
The IGP also reviewed the general situation prevailing in all districts of central and lower Assam and advised all senior officers to coordinate properly with State administration authorities to face any eventuality.
