GUWAHATI: Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has ordered its commanding officers to enforce a ban on PUBG on the mobiles of their new recruits.
Reportedly, the online game affects jawan’s operational capabilities. Jawans have been found to be sleep deprived and several younger jawans have also become anti-social.
“It's getting these men addicted to it and getting them engaged to a great extent which is affecting their ops performance, aggressive and attitudinal issues," an officer said speaking to News18.

According to a senior CRPF officer, the online mobile game was banned by an order issued by Bihar’s CRPF unit on May 6.
A circular which was sent to all CRPF formations and the force’s anti-insurgency CoBRA unit stated, “ All deputy inspectors-general (DIGs) to ensure and instruct all unit/company personnel under your command to get it deleted/deactivated such apps from their mobile phones."

To ensure no jawans have this app on their phones, random phone checks will be conducted.
