GUWAHATI: The total number of positive Covid-19 cases in India has risen to 724, according to the ministry of health and family welfare.
Among these 724 people, 677 are Indian nationals while 47 are foreign nationals.
67 people have so far been cured, discharged or migrated.
However, 17 people have been declared dead due to the coronavirus.
Kerala and Maharashtra have been worst affected by the virus, with 129 and 127 positive cases respectively.
In the northeast part of India, only two positive cases have been confirmed so far - one in Manipur and another in Mizoram.
No patient has been tested positive for coronavirus in Assam.
